Première Vision Paris develops this seasonal conversation through “Living Matter”, placing materials at the heart of creative decisions—not as decoration, but as the foundation of emotion, function and transformation. Its Autumn-Winter 2027-28 direction explores surfaces shaped by time, memory, grain, texture, irregularity and a dialogue between organic sensitivity and technology.

Why a small swatch cannot represent a Jumbo jacquard
A standard swatch works well when a fabric has a small or medium repeat.
With an oversized jacquard, the situation is different.
A small cutting may show only one fragment of the motif. It may omit the main visual relationship between elements, hide the true scale and create an inaccurate impression of the design.
It can also prevent the designer from understanding:
- how the pattern develops across the fabric width;
- how different parts of the motif interact;
- how colour and material are distributed;
- where the design may fall on a garment;
- how the overall surface creates its visual impact.
For this reason, ARNIA does not generally send small samples for Special Jacquard Jumbo articles or other references with exceptionally large repeats when the sample would not be representative.
For these articles, the review is based on detailed photographs and the information shown on the article label. Production is then activated against a confirmed order.
This is not a limitation of service. It is a way to avoid giving the buyer an incomplete or misleading representation of the textile.
